Nokia Pakistan, formally introduced its N-series flagship cellphone in Lahore today, in a rather impressive ceremony at Royal Palm Country and Golf Club.
Since we were unable to find the official spokesperson for Nokia Pakistan, readers will have to wait until tomorrow for their views about this phone’s prospects in the Pakistani market.
As for our own initial impression of the phone, its screen is not nearly as responsive as that of the iPhone or the iPod Touch. That I guess is due to the fact that it’s a newly released phone. And certain software glitches haven’t been taken care of. Its menus, while smooth, do take more than a single touch or swipe to operate. While some may sway at this phone (we witnessed a couple buying two of these, right in front of us) – we’ll need to have a detailed look at it to make up our minds.
Nokia has since issued a firmware upgrade for the phone, that takes care of a variety of issues raised in the post above. Kudos!
Have fun looking at the pictures…
