EA And Bioware have been throwing out free DLC to the players for months now following the release of the game, whether this was planned from the start or was an apology gift for the empty ending of Mass Effect 3 is not known but what we do know is that the same “anonymous” tipster who spilled the games on the previous multiplayer DLC pack has returned again with news of not one but two upcoming DLC packs including the highly anticipated “Extended Cut” DLC which includes new endings for the games.
With the release of Mass Effect 3 many gamers in the community were in an uproar when they discovered the game had a great start but a finish that made you want to break the game disc in half. The months following the games release EA and Bioware have been working around the clock to not only make and deliver new (and free) multiplayer DLC available to the players but also deliver their highly anticipated Extended Cut ending which should help calm the angry fan base that wanted and deserved more from one of their favorite RPG’s.
The same tipster who informed people about the previous map pack before it was announced on the Sony Hong Kong website has made a come back and now he tells us about the two new upcoming DLC’s for the game with one of them being about the “extended cut” DLC.
derptemp6698 from Reddit was the person to outline Mass Effect: Earth and the Extended Cut DLC.
Mass Effect 3: Earth
The fighting is fiercest when it’s your home at stake! Mass Effect 3™: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features 3 new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!
Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut
An expanded ending for Mass Effect 3. Additional scenes and an extended epilogue reveal the impact of Shepard’s choices on the future of the galaxy.
And there you have it folks, We have two new pieces of DLC to look forward to with the latter being the more demanded one. While the tip has confirmed that both DLC’s won’t launch simultaneously but on separate dates he also doesn’t mention the release dates so I can safely say we have around a couple of months if not more to wait for both.
